Lauren Maxfield

Associate General Counsel

Prior to joining Willow Tree, Ms. Maxfield was a Vice President in the Legal Department at Goldman Sachs, where she advised on legal matters with respect to private fund formation and management. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Ms. Maxfield advised on similar matters as an Assistant Vice President in the Legal & Product Structuring group of Blackstone's Multi-Asset Investing platform. Prior to Blackstone, Ms. Maxfield was a Corporate Associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, where she represented private fund sponsors on fund formation and management, as well as issuers and underwriters in capital markets transactions. Ms. Maxfield received a B.A. in International Relations with minors in Economics and Political Science from Lehigh University and a J.D. from Columbia Law School. She is a member of the New York State Bar.
