Mr. Lock has over two decades of experience as a private investor, operating executive and business co-founder. His expertise includes novel industrial technology, renewable and traditional energy, financial services, data centers, project finance, agribusiness, sustainability and related hard asset classes. Mr. Lock has served as a principal co-founder, advisor, investment committee and board member for the industrial investment conglomerate Mitsui & Co. Mr. Lock held prior related roles at Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Fortis Asset Management where he focused on strategy and executing direct investments, achieving successful realizations in private equity, venture capital and other real assets. He is an active company advisor and serves as an extension of the executive teams of both public and private corporations in matters of principal investments, business model innovation, acquisitions, and growth strategy. Mr. Lock is a U.S. Army Veteran, serving as a Field Artillery Officer in domestic and overseas duty. He graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a Bachelor of Science in Law and Engineering. He received his MBA from Cornell University, The Johnson Graduate School of Management.
